2020 Saga Dawa Festival Starts
The 2020 Saga Dawa Festival , also known as the Buddha Auspicious Day (May 23 to June 21 of this year's Gregorian calendar) is a traditional festival of Tibetan Buddhism, which is called the Saga Dawa Festival in Tibetan. The believers of the southern Buddhist countries are also known as Vesak Day, which means full moon and sun. Buddhist believers, it is a very extraordinary and sacred day. It is associated with three important events in the Buddha's life, namely: birth, enlightenment, and nirvana, which are three auspicious days of celebration. To thank the Buddha for his compassionate teachings, in April of the Tibetan calendar, many Buddhist were stop eating meat, dedicated to offering Buddhas, and some also fasten the meals. On this special month, Buddhist people around the world seize the opportunity to complete all kinds of good deeds.
